Service of the staff were very friendly and service was good but they seemed very rushed and as we were served by several people who were pushing cocktails and quickly clearing plates, dessert was served at 8.30pm at the end of our time - I think that is where they lost that personal / special touch, and hence why the four stars.Įnjoyed the evening and had a great time with partner. So I understand where some of the cost of the evening goes. Positives: Saw 4 acts in that time, so variety and talent of the acts were very good. I would have expected a bottle of wine to be included for that price as food portions were small, and some roses or valentines petals would have not gone a miss to create a more romantic atmosphere - just got a small chocolate heart which was the only real valentines gesture on show.

Meant a £75 per person meal, jumped up to £250 quickly when drinks added on. Had table for 2hours (6.30-8.30pm), food was very tasty and good, cocktails were very expensive and not that great though - added too much extra cost to the evening when you add on service charge I thought (Overloaded with ice and large ice cubes meant very little to actually drink!). Excellent venue and an entertaining evening for couples for a Valentine’s evening night out.
